Time Flies

Time sure does fly by when you are having fun living. So much has happened in the past month since I last blogged, and I'm finally feeling well enough to start blogging again. Late last year as finals and the holidays approached the stress of life, school, and work got to be overwhelming and one night around my birthday I found myself in the middle of a full blown panic attack. School started back up a few weeks later, and I quickly put myself back together knowing that the end of my college career was in sight.

In my last blog post I told you that I had FINALLY finished school; it appears that my mind and body were just waiting for me to be done before they came crashing down. Panic attacks became a daily, unwanted visitor. I can say that I have never been as scared in my life as I have been over the past month. The panic attacks have finally subsided and with some much needed rest, I finally feel like I can face the day. I will be going back to work in a week, and I'm spending the time leading up to my return organizing the house, cooking, sleeping, and snuggling with my little guy.

My experience over the past month has been eye opening and life changing to say the least. I realize now that one person can only do so much, and that sometimes you can be your own worst enemy.

Later this evening or tomorrow I will blog about some of the amazing recipes I've tried and a few projects I've completed at home while I've been rejuvenating.

Have a marvelous evening!

Hello!

Never in a million years did I think I would take the time to create a blog, but I've decided this is something simple that I can do for myself now that I have a bit of "free" time. I am proud to say that as of last Friday I completed the coursework for and have now obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Management. After six years of college, two of those spent balancing work, being a new mommy and trying to be a wife I'm looking forward to this new, slower chapter in our lives.

I want to document my journey as I bring some order to our currently chaotic lifestyle.

So what does that mean for me and my family...?

It means a few things:
  • Homecooked Meals (I can burn and have burnt everything.)
  • Organization at Home (Tackling projects to make our house a home.)
  • Family Time (Pure un-interrupted fun as a family.)
Wish me luck as I tackle one of our first homemade dinners and desserts this evening! Crockpot Sloppy Joes, thrown in the crockpot this afternoon, and carrot cake cupcakes. The smoke detector isn't going off yet so I must be making some progress already! :)

Have a marvelous evening!
